TKO reflects the joy and humanity of Klezmer music. I have enjoyed their lively concerts at Night Town and Music Box, and most recently at my mother’s house, where they played an outdoor concert for her 100th birthday. My mom had refused to go outside for over a year, but when TKO came, she came outside clapped her hands, and even danced in her wheelchair. Afterwards, she told the band that it was the best birthday she had ever had. A TKO concert is a wonderful way to celebrate the birthday of an aging parent, or any other significant milestone for that matter.
